Summer Tomato Salad With Balsamic Red Onion Recipe

Easy to make and tastes great. It goes well with cheese, grilled veggies, or as a topping for a burger.

– 3 tablespoons white balsamic vinegar – 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt – 1 small red onion thinly sliced – 2 large heirloom tomatoe – a handful of cherry and plum tomatoe – 2 tablespoons olive oil – a small handful of fresh basil – sea salt flake

Step 1

In a big bowl, mix vinegar and salt together. Add the onion and mix it in. Leave to sit while you get the tomatoes ready.

The rare tomatoes should be cut into disks. Take cherry and plum tomatoes and cut them into pieces.

Step 3

Put the heirloom tomatoes on the bottom of a big serving plate or a shallow bowl. They can touch each other a little.

Pour olive oil over the top and top with basil leaves and salt flakes. Serve right away.
