Summer Tomato Salad With Balsamic Red Onion Recipe
Easy to make and tastes great. It goes well with cheese, grilled veggies, or as a topping for a burger.
INGREDIENTS
– 3 tablespoons white balsamic vinegar– 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt– 1 small red onion thinly sliced– 2 large heirloom tomatoe– a handful of cherry and plum tomatoe– 2 tablespoons olive oil– a small handful of fresh basil– sea salt flake
Step 1
In a big bowl, mix vinegar and salt together. Add the onion and mix it in. Leave to sit while you get the tomatoes ready.

Step 2
The rare tomatoes should be cut into disks. Take cherry and plum tomatoes and cut them into pieces.
Step 3
Put the heirloom tomatoes on the bottom of a big serving plate or a shallow bowl. They can touch each other a little.
Step 4
Add half of the onion-vinegar mix on top. Start by adding tomato pieces. Next, add the rest of the onions and vinegar on top.
Step 5
Pour olive oil over the top and top with basil leaves and salt flakes. Serve right away.
