Pancake Bar Party Recipe


Make an epic pancake bar with the fluffiest pancakes that you can make ahead of time and all your favorite pancake toppings by following this plan.


For the pancake – 2 1/2 cups flour – 4 Tablespoons sugar – 1 teaspoon salt – 2 teaspoons baking soda – 2 teaspoons baking powder – 2 eggs, separated – 8 Tablespoons butter, melted – 2 cups buttermilk – 1/2 cup milk – Canola or coconut oil, for frying For the toppings: – Whipped Cream – Shredded coconut – Cookie Butter – Softened butter – Peanut Butter – Fruits (Strawberries, bananas, blueberries, or sauteed apples and peaches) – Toasted nut – Sprinkle – Warm maple syrup – Nutella



Mix flour, sugar, salt, soda, and baking powder in a medium bowl. After lightly mixing egg yolks in another basin, add butter, buttermilk, and milk.


Step 1

Add buttermilk to dry ingredients and mix slightly. Make a thick, lumpy batter from barely beaten egg whites. Prevent batter smoothing. Good lumpy batter!


Step 2

Cook a thin layer of neutral oil on a griddle over medium heat. Pour quarter cups batter onto hot pan. 


Step 3

Pancakes should bounce. After bubbles form, flip pancake and brown for 2-3 minutes. Remove to wire rack to cool. Use leftover batter.


Step 4

Prepare and freeze notes. Bowl bar toppings. Place them on your counter or kitchen table and let guests build!
