Four Thick & Chunky Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe

I have four enormous chocolate chip cookies that are thick and chunky. There is a distinct crunch on the edges, a chewy texture in the middle, and a substantial amount of chocolate chips.

– 85g or 6 tablespoons butter – 100g or ½ cup brown sugar – 50g or ¼ cup granulated sugar – 1 tsp pure vanilla extract – ½ tsp baking soda – 1/2 tsp fine sea salt – ½ tsp baking powder – 1 large egg – 190g or 1 ½ cups all purpose flour – 150g or 1 cup chocolate chips* see note above

Butter should be melted in a bowl that can withstand heat in the microwave. As soon as the sugars are added, whisk them thoroughly for at least thirty seconds.

Add the chocolate chips and continue to fold until the dough is thoroughly combined. When the flour is almost completely incorporated, add the chocolate chips.

The dish should be left out on the counter for one hour with the plastic wrap covering it.

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Assuming that each dough mound weighs approximately 150 grams, divide the dough into four equal parts.

Prepare a standard cookie sheet and place them in such a way that there is sufficient space all around for them to spread out. Once they have been placed in the oven,

Reduce the temperature to 350 degrees Fahrenheit after five minutes. After another ten to twelve minutes, remove from the pan and allow to cool on the surface.
