Classic banana bread with chocolate chips and dark, sweet cherries all over it.
INGREDIENT
– 1/2 cup butter, melted– 1/2 cup brown sugar– 1/2 cup white sugar– 1/2 cup Greek yogurt– 2 egg– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract– 3 large very ripe banana– 1 teaspoon cinnamon– 1 1/2 cups flour– 1 teaspoon baking soda– 1/2 teaspoon baking powder– 1/2 teaspoon salt– 3/4 cup dark chocolate chip– 2 Tablespoons flour– 1 cup halved dark sweet cherries, divided

INSTRUCTION
Grease 9-inch loaf pan. Preheat oven to 350. Mix melted butter, brown sugar, and white sugar in a large bowl. Mix until smooth and brown sugar melts.

Step 1
Beat Greek yogurt before adding eggs. Add vanilla. Mushed bananas and Greek yogurt in another bowl.

Step 2
Combine flour, baking soda, powder, salt, and cinnamon until no white remains. Reserve 1/4 cup cherries for bread top.

Step 3
Add the remaining cherries and 2 tablespoons flour to the chocolate bits and stir gently. Reuse cherries in pan batter. Bake 50–60 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with wet crumbs.

After 40 minutes, check pan. Cover with foil for the remaining baking time if the top is browning too much.

Slice and chill oven-warm bread before removing from pan. Wrap leftovers with Saran. Place bread in fridge for a week. Reheat slices in microwave before serving.
