The hearty Amish Baked Oatmeal is a nice and cozy way to start the day.
INGREDIENT
– 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted– 1 3/4 cups brown sugar– 4 egg– 1 teaspoon vanilla– 3 cups quick-cooking oat– 3 cups old fashioned rolled oat– 1 Tablespoon baking powder– 2 teaspoons salt– 1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)– 1 c. raisins or other dried fruit (optional)– 2 cups milk

INSTRUCTION
Pre-heat the oven to 350. Grease a 9x13 pan. Cream butter and sugar in a large bowl. Beat each egg carefully after adding it. Mix in vanilla.

Add oats, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon if using and gently whisk until combined. Mix in the milk on low speed. Add dried fruit if using.

Bake a 9x13 inch pan at 350 for 28–35 minutes until the mixture is golden brown and firm. Serving warm baked oatmeal with milk, fruits, nuts, and other toppings.
